Précoce et virtuose, Deepsankar est la quatrième génération d’une famille de musiciens. Il s’est embarqué dans son voyage musical dès son plus jeune âge sous la direction de son père, Pt. Hara Shankar Bhattacharya, et sous les conseils attentifs du maître Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan.

Le sitar est l’instrument virtuose utilisé pour mettre en valeur les ragas traditionnels de la musique classique du nord de l’Inde, tandis que le tabla met en évidence les subtilités du rythme. concert musique
