Lysistrata est un groupe pressé. Issus de milieux musicaux radicaux, Ben (batterie, chant), Théo (guitare) et Max (basse) ont déjà érigé leur bâtisse à une hauteur vertigineuse. Adeptes d’une musique dont l’héritage évident des 90’s n’est plus à prouver, le trio de Saintes s’est imposé comme une valeur sûre du renouveau de la scène indé. Il y a chez ces 3 Charentais un indéniable don pour créer, assembler et fédérer. Leur musique instrumentale et stellaire prône une liberté sonique salvatrice envoyant carrément valser les étiquettes du post-hardcore et du noise-rock. Après 2 albums et des tournées à n’en plus savoir où habiter, ils reviennent sur le devant de la scène avec un nouvel opus “Veil” produit par Ben Greenberg (Metz, Algiers, etc.). Un disque créé pour danser, chanter et vivre ses émotions jusqu’à l’abandon. Des compos qui mordent autant qu’elle cajolent !

Originaire de Vernon / Giverny, You Said Strange – traduisez “vous avez dit étrange ?”- propose un rock indé constitué de pop psychédélique, proto grunge et shoegaze. On se laisse facilement embarquer par la sincérité et la puissance de leur musique qui se manifeste également sur scène, où les membres ont une grande spontanéité à l’incarner. “Notre ADN, c’est le live. On ne se voit pas défendre notre musique autrement.” Pour rappel, le combo normand est l’un des seuls, si ce n’est l’unique, groupe issu de nos régions à avoir enregistré non pas une mais bien 2 live-sessions pour la mythique station de radio KEXP, à Seattle. Il entretient d’ailleurs un lien important avec les États Unis depuis qu’il a enregistré son 1er album à Portland avec, aux manettes, Peter G. Holmström – le guitariste du groupe The Dandy Warhols.
